Now you do have some decent specs here. This laptop is running a ( Windows 10 Home) Intel Core i3 processor, 4 GB of RAM, 1 TB hard drive (HDD Storage), Intel UHD graphics card. Now unfortunately there is no SSD option when buying brand new. We always recommend inserting a Solid State Drive (SSD) and extra Ram (eg DDR4 SDRAM 128 GB SSD). Ultitech can install it for you.
Now there are a decent number of USB ports you get to 2 USB ports (USB 2.0) a headset port an ethernet port and an HDMI port. that is the basic set of balls that you can expect with a budget laptop like this.

Now let’s talk about the build quality and this is one of the areas where the Acer Aspire 3 a315 shines both literally and figuratively. It does have a full plastic chassis. It does have quite a bit of flex and a nice coating. The coating mimics the Feel of aluminium. It does feel pretty solid overall, that said it is not so thin and light so you will definitely feel it when you put it in your bag over your shoulder.
Ok, let’s talk about the display this is where budget laptops really start to suck. thankfully the Acer Aspire 3 a315 is a step above the rest. this laptop has a 15.6-inch display with a 1366 x 768 resolution. This is not a full HD display. is it sharp enough for outside viewing in – no. It has a matt coating and so not too reflective. is it good enough or watching movies yes although you might see some colour shift if you doing a bit of a odd angle viewing to the screen.

The Aspire 3 laptop is a great all-around machine. It’s designed with the busy professional or college student in mind, and it has everything you need from powerful tech to thoughtful design features for all of your daily computing needs!
The keyboard is tactile and it’s responsive which is good enough for a budget laptop, we have not had any problems typing with the keyboard for long periods of time. The only downside is that it is not backlit. The touchpad is small it’s light it’s nappy which is great and allows for multi-touch gestures.
The Camera is a Acer webcam with 640 x 480 resolution.
Now the performance on the Acer Aspire 3 a315 is pretty average. It is using an( Windows 10 Home) Intel Core i3 processor with a 1 terabyte hard drive. It is quite responsive. It is quick and you won’t have a problem running multiple apps at one point in time.
