It supports near-instantaneous snapshot technology and real-time dual-channel H.264/H.265 4K video transcoding and is equipped with six 2.5″ SATA HDD/SSD drive bays that support RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, Basic, and Synology Hybrid RAID. Each RAID mode provides performance gains, data redundancy, or a combination of both. For those who do not need the benefits of a RAID, JBOD is also available.
